Can you take a break now?

So, today I played piano in my study hall. To me, I guess playing just relieves stress/calms my nerves. Today had been a great day, until my school's Dean of students poked his head in and said "can you take a break now?" I don't know what to think. A break from what? Enjoying my short break? Using my mind? Being creative? I'm trying to do something prolific, rather than sitting outside and being a vegetable. Sadly, with no work to do, I'm expected to either sit silently or quietly chat with others in the school lounge. I want to do more. I only say this because today I thought about Descartes' quote "I think, therefore I am." If I don't think, what am I? Yeah, I could concentrate more about school, but being a semi-rebellious highschooler, I want a break to do something new.

An Insomniacs Guide to a Lonely Heart

This makes no sense, *Ben Bledsoe*. An Insomniacs Guide to a Lonely Heart is the name of his solo album, and I have a problem comprehending it's meaning. No one needs a guide to a lonely heart; ironically, some find loneliness in guides to have it all. This is for free: Life is a funny thing. And by funny i mean strange. Zach Shealy agrees.

Quote this

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
~C.S. Lewis

How about that? Can I say that this is the foundation of my faith? I hope so.

High

Ever had one of those spiritual or intellectual highs after a great a experience? Well I hate them. There is nothing worse than either promising God to be a better person or promising yourself to completely turn your studies around, and then doing nothing. Nothing changes. Nothing. You see, I've felt both these cases; however, I have learned.
Advice: this is for free.
Make a plan. Do something different when you get back. As I like to say, march to a new beat.

Well, I'll write more eventually. MC is calling. (musical creativity, that is)
